Instagram is immensely popular with over 200 million active monthly members who share 60 million images and 1.6 billion likes per day. It really is a great platform that allows you to work well on the visibility of your business.

account with a nice feed and you regularly post interesting things for your

your profile and see if everything is still correct. All fields must be
filled in. Make sure that the biography summarizes exactly what your
company stands for. You don't have a lot of space for your text, so take
the time to formulate a catchy and concise bio. Use as many keywords as
possible that your potential customers search for.
2. Change the URL in your bio regularly:
Then there is the website on your
profile. Indeed… you can only put one on your Instagram profile. You
can place a link to your website here. But it's much smarter to change the
URL every few weeks. Then once to your giveaway, then once to a beautiful

you and that you will endure. Make a clear schedule for yourself and
choose a fixed time when you post. For example, post in the morning at a
fixed time and also ensure a bit of recognition in the image and in the text.

9. Bet on interaction:
Interaction is everything in
social media marketing. It contributes enormously to your
visibility. Actively interact with others on Instagram. Some only
post their posts and do little to interact with this platform

action. So it is a message or a button with a text on it, which the
visitor has to click. You can place the call to action on the image you
post or in the accompanying text. Use short and clear sentences: 'Click on
the following link', 'Tell in a comment…' or 'Ask your question in a comment…'.
11. Deploy experts in your field:
Well-known names in your field
are very interesting to follow. You can put yourself in the spotlight with
them that way. You do this by responding quickly and often to their
posts. How do you know when they've posted something? Click on a post
(from the person) on the three dots at the top right. Then click on 'Turn
on message notifications'. As soon as they post something, you will
receive a notification and you can immediately like or comment. If you do
this for a longer period of time, you will definitely stand out.
A second smart way is to view
that person's followers and then start following people who you think fit your
target audience. Don't just follow them, but like and respond to some of
their posts that appeal to you. This way you can reach a nice group of
interesting people in a targeted and easy way.

Instagram has a nice messaging
feature. Use it specifically to contact colleagues. For example,

important to increase your reach and get new followers. Think carefully
about the target group you want to reach and what their interests are (what
exactly they are looking for).
15. Use Audience-Specific Hashtags:
You can use a maximum of 30
hashtags per post. Use them smartly and purposefully. The more
specific you are with your hashtag, the more targeted you attract people with a
certain interest (your ideal target group) and the greater the chance that they
will follow you. The more specific the tags you use, the smaller the total
number of posts and the greater the chance that your post will be
visible. If there are multiple hashtags about the same thing, don't choose
the largest one (with the most posts in it), but rather the middle
one. With the largest specific hashtags, your post will get bogged down
faster in the huge mass of posts.
16. Use event-related hashtags:
Event related hashtags are about
events taking place in your field. Think of annual fairs, seminars or
workshops. Also think of well-known events: around the corner or simply
worldwide that are related to your business.
Shout out about it (even if you
don't go there yourself) and use that hashtag. This may not immediately
lead to more followers. But because it is such a well-known and popular
search term, it gets a lot of attention and therefore you can work on your
visibility and brand awareness.

17. Participate in Instagram Challenges:
Want to stand out on
Instagram? Then take part in Instagram Challenges. Here, users post
certain videos and photos, for example about a certain topic, and use the same
hashtag. They encourage other users to do the same. This provides a
lot of visibility; you can get in touch with other people and be found by
people who are looking for this challenge. That's all good for your
visibility.
18. Reuse your content immediately:
Every piece of content you post
on Instagram gets a certain organic reach. This limits Instagram by a
built-in algorithm. How nice would it be if you could get almost double
the reach with just one post created (and a little extra work)? You can do
that with the following trick.
Suppose you have posted about
your latest blog. Once you've published that post, take the content with
you and process it back into a story. That is quickly beep, because you
already have the photo or video and the text at your disposal. You can
adjust the text a bit if you want. Post your story now. You have now
made 2 different posts (technically for Instagram). With this you can
easily double your visibility and increase the chance of getting new followers.
19. Use Instagram Reels:
Reels is a new functionality on
Instagram. They are 15-second videos that you can edit and add effects
to. This is a feature that Instagram has more or less copied from
TikTok. Here you can add music, text and gifs. It is an ideal way to
create more reach. These videos can be found via the 'explore page', the
feed and under certain hashtags.
Reels once placed remain visible
for a long time. They may be visible even weeks after posting. It is
definitely worth using this fun new feature for more visibility and more
followers.
